I'm a bit reluctant to submit my Zaskar after seeing the entries so far, amazing bikes!

Not mine, but I found this rough looking Ku on Kijiji in Montreal near where I live. The owner was kind enough to share the serial number, which appears to be H9A00480. If I'm not mistaken, it means it's a late model from 1998 (Hodaka).

Yes, when I looked at the pictures I though about the same thing, it's been rectified!

I got extremely lucky and found a perfect donor bike for the rest of the parts I needed (wheels and Deore XT U-Brake essentially). Although, calling this bike a "donor bike" is insulting it since it is a model equally worthy of being restored than my Zaskar! It will probably be my next big...

New decals would be nice, thank you so much! As for the product, I used Coconix's Leather Recoloring Balm from Amazon. I've used it a couple of times in the past with great results. I'm sure there are other similar products to this one.

Some more parts that I'll use for this build : This long 150 mm Syncros stem should be perfect. I also got this classic GT copper rivet saddle on eBay a few weeks ago. There was a little bit of discoloring here and there; I used some leather balm to refresh it.

I don't think I see any on the picture. Because of that, the color matching the one in the catalog and the decals, I'm confident it's a real one. But I guess we'll never know for sure...
