Doesn’t look like an aftermarket job, but I can’t be sure. I think they made them for someone else (like they did for Mavic), as Simplex is not written on them, and the colour doesn’t match anything known.

ISTR that the inside of the left chainstay said 'Banana' not 'Raleigh'. The inside of the right was probably the same.

It's definitely worth more than £20 if it isn't cracked. It's just not worth the same as a steel frame of the same era. It's nice, though.

It's not Columbus TSX, which had rifling on the inside of the tubes (SLX/SPX had this at the butts, TSX throughout the entire length). This external rifling isn't like any Columbus tubing I've seen - they've done star-profiled tubing with 4 and 5 points, crazy 'MS' tubing with unusual profiles...
