Ah, thank you, that's quite precise enough then 😊 Think I can see 'CB' stamped under the number, which I guess further proves it's a Holdsworthy made frame.

Can't make out frame number as the paint is too thick on BB shell... but it appears to run at right angles to the shell, not around it.

EDIT: Going to remove tyres, tubes and QR's, sell wheels on own with freewheel for £75... As title, nice vintage wheels, rebuilt a while back with new rims, but very little rim wear. Front bearings good, rear feel a bit dry. Pretty true. Think spokes are Revolution, double butted. 6 speed...

How much pitting is there, it's not easy to tell in pics, do you think it compromises the frame's integrity...? I'm also assuming it might be a little quick handling if it's essentially a track frame...? 🤔

Thanks for the info, really appreciate it, I'll pass it on to Dad as he's always wanted to know more about it. I am toying with the idea of selling the brakes separately and keeping the headset for my bike... 🤭

Obviously nothing special but may get a pub hack on the road for you this winter... Tourney chainset, 7 x 2 shifters, front and rear mech. Used, but not much I would say looking at condition. £45 posted.

Suntour band on Power down tube shifters and VX front mech. Band a bit ovalised but sure would sort itself out once bolted up. £12 posted for the lot

Oversize 'bars, stem (has reducer shim to take to 1"), 27.2 seat post and saddle. All in pretty good condition, but used. £24 posted the lot

Depending on how you read it, it's either 03307917, or C33G7917...? Paint is too thick to make it easily visible

I'll have a look in the morn, there was definitely something on the BB shell, I'll try and get a pic if it's fairly legible...
