Seller looks to be of a certain age, this can mean there are a few 'modifications' here and there if the seller is from the mend/make do era. But I think it looks honest enough. Too small for me by miles though.

The seller is advertising it as "audax/ endurance" geometry. I dont know much that though. Looks like it can take decent size tyres. I dont really "do" road riding as such and havent clicked with drop bars / brifters in the past (although quite open to trying again). But a flat bar fast...

Keep seeing this frame for sale on FB and Gumtree and i'm intrigued. Clearly a nicely made thing and I like the look of the geometry. But anyone ever heard of "Extreme" ? Seller says "reynolds 853 extreme (blackpool)" but nothing comes up on a google search.

Slightly better angle of the clearance. I am hoping that the hole for the rear mech is threaded for a standard mech bolt to wind in, rather than that nut & bolt currently in place.

It's made for 8 speed (hence the name) but this has some spacers at the back of the current 6 speed cassette fitted by a previous owner. Going back to 8 speed with a 32t chaining, should be ok for most rides although it is hilly near me. It's a cassette on a freehub I *think* but seems to be...

Yeh I just bought one of those £14 ones with a handle. Looks fine, I've been doing it with my own homebrew one for years (2 pieces of wood and nuts / Washers on some threaded bar) but it's not as accurate as I'd like, I often end up tapping the cup home with mallet action. But no more!
