surprisingly hard to achieve on a 1990ish model. probably for the reason stated above. I'm not sure that's 100% responsible for my OCD on this, I didn't have any road heritage back in the 90s. I just like matching stuff, I can't even wear non matching jersey and shorts indoors on the turbo...

someone just sent me a link to a 120mm, black, 1" T-Bone, with cable guide and a bit of rise... so I've bought one so we'll see how it looks when it arrives :)

I think a bikes stem and seatpost should match, it upsets me enough that Campag made a post and no stem. I think I might try and find a Tioga T-Bone, but all the ones I've seen have crazy rise. I really want zero degree, but finding 1" quill stems, ideally with noodle isn't easy.

I just think it needs to be black, but yes 120mm is best looking I agree. I just know 90s me was 135mm minimum.

I've gone with the Ringle, because its what I would have had back then. I loved them. But yes I agree its not quite right. I've tried Salsa, Cook Bros, Answer and the Ringle so far. The Ringle is the one I'm most happy with, but I'm still not content.
