Some things slip through, its a black hole / lottery at the border and has been for a couple of years now, and they still aren't doing the checks they should be on this side. They aren't putting them in because they know it'll cause even more chaos, and increase costs and time.

it killed my import business, with the red tape and extra costs, so I'm currently enjoying some unpaid time off. trying to hunt down any postives is an impossible activity that keeps me busy and at least stops me running into town and punching the nearest brexit voter in the face.

just add the fees to the list of Brexit benefits and you'll feel better!

the transaction fees aren't the issue. Its the import duty, VAT and customs declaration fees that make the cross border trade a pain. The easiest way is if you get the shop to set up on ebays global shipping program, that way ebay handle everything for them. You'll just get the item price...

it's a 90s bike... there is no such thing as OTT ;) the fact its got silver cranks, hubs, brakes and "just" a black post, makes me feel that its a bit under loved currently lol

not in the last 29 years. I think it might have been repainted by Klein in the mid 90s, which would explain the fact that the frame number is pre this paint option. After speaking to a lot of people before I bought it, the concensus was probably a fork issue, so the bike went back to Klein...

fair point and normally I would do that, but in this case I sold it to a mate at a price that isn't really market value. I owed him a favour so let it go cheaply.

Yes, it did need knocking through a bit more, but I wasn't planning on keeping those forks, so I didn't really want to push it through to much and stress things. I'm selling the frame / forks now, so the forks are in correctly now. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325839764134

This is the tyres, saddle grips on my ARC.

I have a pair, along with matching grips and flite saddle. I don't have a project for them. all were NOS before I put them on a show bike and then took them off again. I could be temped to sell the lot. Let me find a photo
