I just measured my 95 thin air and vertex (aluminum) they're both 31.8 seat tube and 26.8 seat post. I don't have a steel slant tube to measure but it their seat tubing should be 28.6 -I don't know why I posted 28.7, I may have been high lol). accepting a 27 seat post should it not? I may...

Yeah I'd have to agree with option 1- Maybe I missed it somewhere- are you planing on only making the one size? 28.7 for steel tubes? or also the 31.8 for aluminum?

I'm no engineer, it looks like it'll solve the cracking issue, however I much prefer the minimalist look of the original. I realize this is function over form. I'm just not sure how I feel about it. Amazing work, thought, and ingenuity though- you're super talented.

I don't think I've posted this in this thread- plus I've updated it a bit, The addition of the Brodie brace was absolutely needed. these forks chatter like a mother. this has calmed it down. I still have to restore and re-decal a Ritchey Logic crank and install, and that'll pretty much finish...

Stick the end of the blow gun under the grip, pull trigger and twist/pull. done. super easy. do the reverse with a wd40 spray for the reverse results.

Compressed air and wd40 silicon spray is the only way to get grips on. This method also allows you to shoot the first one across the room as you're getting the second one on, which is super fun! (also works with OURY grips)

I see that, but IRL my 95 Thin Air is angled. These are reasons I love early Canadian made Rocky Mountain's, nothing makes sense, and seemingly no two are identical.

So the only two OD would be 28.6 and 31.8? - I'd be looking for 31.8 for my 95 Vertex and 95 Thin Air.
