Re: Its an interesting design. The co-axial bottom bracket and pivot point are meant to restrict pedaling induced bounce, not sure if it works that well with the leverage from the cranks being so far forward of the pivot point but thats the idea.

Got a 20" Cannondale frame here with no forks that you can have for £35 if you pick up. On the edge of the City of London. Can sort a pic if you want one and work out the year as well.

There is a way to do it called planishing which is a rarely used skill these days BUT it requires access to the inside of the top tube which most bike frames don't have.

I mean the freehub body, the black bit on the side. As far as I can tell there are two different types available, the STX-RC and the M290. Both are 7 speed probably compact which is a minor problem but I don't know if they're compatible.

Chaps Is the Shimano STX-RC a suitable replacement freehub for a Deore DX of 92 vintage or is there another that will do the job? Thanks in advance
