    Hi All, Got given a well made but tatty Carlton frameset tonight and have a little difficulty identifying it... Frame/fork number is 128226 and had chrome lugs, half chrome stays and forks and looks like it was Green with possibly an Orange head-tube - any ideas? Will add a few more pics...

    Hi There, Any of you Classic Carlton Guys know roughly how old this nice Carlton 10 is? Seems I can find catalogues showing the 'Ten' but not the '10'... Late 60's perhaps? Worksop Head-badge... It's very original and the previous owner has had it from new! Cheers, Marty

    Yes, German or Belgian I believe? Like with a lot of these European companies, frames were out-sourced so hard to track down the exact manufacturing origins - I have a 'Dave Russell' that was supplied by Concorde (Dutch) but made by Ciocc in Italy... Cheers!

    Yes AndyMart - I think you are right - the brake bridge, BB shell and mech braze-on are all exactly the same... So probably Columbus tubing and probably made in Italy somewhere?? Well done and thanks! Marty

    Re: Thanks for those suggestions but, I put it on the BMX Museum forum and turns out it's an ultra rare Pro-Lite Craig Campbell Freestyler from 1985! A very well regarded frame by all accounts! Cheers Anyway!
