    Yep, Edwards & Bayton from the '77 championships. Griffiths in the Milk Race along with Sandy Gilchrist (centre) and John Parker (far right). The TI Raleigh rider (also pictured after the '77 London-York championship) should be dead easy.

    Yes and yes. Which should make identifying the riders in 2 & 3 simple. I don't know about the Scots lad toiling along in front of the broom wagon but of the riders in the other 6 pictures at least 3 of them had/have the same first name.

    The following have (like some of us) suffered from aging. If you're old enough to have dressed in same fashions as the spectators in the second picture you might well be able to name some of the riders - or even the two events. No brifters, no plastic frames and very few riders in lycra - if any.
