Yes some shifters are an acquired taste. However choice is limited when you need 3x7 ( and 3x8 ). These new shimanos are actually very smooth in use, if ugly. Having one lever underneath and one on top is a bit unfamiliar but works aok in practice. I wish they would separate the shifter from the...
