Sorted 2x Grafton Parts needed - Cable Grub Screw Stop & O-Ring bush?

Big thanks to Mike https://www.retrobike.co.uk/members/viengsavanh.38141/ for offering up 2x lip seals he had. Really appreciated 👏👏👏 Also found a grub screw in my own box of spares that fits. Didn’t realise it was there. Had it since my Giant MCM team build 30yrs ago. I knew I kept it for a...

Ah good point... just measured it and diameter is 7.2mm / length is 8.5mm (length doesn't really matter though). Also realised I'm missing a plastic O-Ring bush thingy (bugger) so updated the thread accordingly

Sorted 2x Grafton Parts needed - Cable Grub Screw Stop & O-Ring bush?

(Slight thread update - all sorted thanks) Hi all, managed to source a set of black Grafton brakes for my Trek 8900. I’m just missing two important parts, as follows: 1. One of the Canti cable grub screw stops is missing. Anyone got one spare or know of an online link to something similar...

Settled on the foam grips, work fine… and the skinny Continental tyres suit the bike well as a pub bike steed. Overall really happy with it

Went for a coffee and paid homage to my 80s/90s bike shop Ythan Cycles. This is where my Peugeot ownership began. Bought my first Peugeot Trail from here in 1989ish (well my parents bought it🤣). The left over signage can still be seen today. As a teenage I’d stare through the window dreaming on...

Got it finished this morning before taking my son to cycle club. Decided to take the Montana with me for a wee spin too and get some photos of it finished (for now). It’s too large a frame for me but still mega comfy to ride.

My PEUGEOT Collection - One bike at a time

Thanks, it’s got battle scars and definitely not NOS, but it’s still a gorgeous period Peugeot bicycle. I did get it all back together tonight except for new cable set. Will do that tomorrow. I put the Onza bar grips on but agree, will be swapped out to more period correct foam replicas. Covid...
