2022 was sorta a year off of bikes for me with the move. Really looking forward to a finished new shop, display of most of my bikes, and riding them daily.

I know! Both Paul and Harrold worked on this one. They've had a tough go lately. Such good guys. This bike is nothing without them.

Donzo! It took a bit of time to sift through and acquire enough pics to get the build spec. I took a couple of well-educated guesses on a couple parts I wasn't 100% sure of, but for the most part I'd say its spot on Myrah's OG race rig. How's it ride? First off, its super cool to own and...

I rarely ride a bike without SPDs, but they predate that merlin so I went with the 730s. Truth be told … there may … just may be spuds on it when I ride it … shhh. Pedal thing is so odd. People look so sideways at me with my modern bikes. I run SPDs on those as well and I’m behind the times...

Geeze … 2021 was a great year … in vintage MTBs. Suspect outside of that, but bikes wise … excellent :) I’m cool with any of those bikes as the winner. I bet it comes down to a vote or two … as it should. My vote went to the one I spent the most time obsessing over like a lunatic.

Slooooow progress. I almost quit on it. The search for a fork was a pain, until I got a message from someone on IG that had an original one. It arrived … unfortunately just a hair too short and I was already having trouble with the paint chipping easily so I didn’t want to face down the frame...

Hahah … my 4 year old goes scribble crazy. The Brodie is super cool 😎
