your passenger with you to get decals sounds like a smart man. you should also listen to him regarding keeping and touching up the original paint. :) possibly leave it original paint for a season. who knows it might grow on you. can always repaint. what do others think?

if it helps your timeline any i have a fillet brazed climbmax serial number 404 that was built july 4 1988. means 126 frames were built in 7 months.
