That's a difficult question! Obviously I'm biased but they're all great and have their subtle differences that I'd struggle to put into words. If forced to pick just one though it'd most likely be the Ti Lite.

Binned off the X-rays in favour of Suntour thumbies and refitted a Smoke and Dart. The Contis look great but aren't so nice to ride.

Only you can decide. :) It's one of those things I'd do, decide it's fine, then look at the bike a couple of days later and be all 'No, looks shit, got to change it!'

You can buy a laser guided tool for this. https://www.superbiketool.com/en/product/detail/Frame_Fork/TB_HD05 I just get it as close as possible by eye, usually lining the front of the bar up with the fork crown. Then do it again after the first ride when I realise it's well out. :)

Whilst it probably has no relation to Hots, until recently I had a 94 Explosif without the ribbed downtube. The frame was identical (same tube profiles, weight within 4g) to a 94 Kilauea that I also own. Is it possible that Tange discontinued the tubeset mid year and still having orders to fill...
