@Lucidone yes, the forks were supposed to be black, i had the silver thomson stem hanging around, it was the right size, will change it down the line

@JCS yes the fork was supposed to be black but there was a miscomunication, i don't mind though, i might out a pair rockshox in black in at some point, we'll see. not a tan wall fan though!

mountain cycle pro stop, i didn't realise before that these were cable actuated hydraulic brakes, the manual doesn't say what fluid it is

@Stretch79 are you 100% sure?!! it's a customers bike and i've never done nthem before!!

mineral or dot? i have the manual to do a bleed on a pair of brakes but it says "mountain cycle brake fluid only" but doesn't say what it is. any definite idea?

i always liked the rocky ridge, when rigid it had black forks, that combined with deore dx meant it was a very classy looking bike, looks good with the manitou forks though.

@foz they were on there when i got it, i think it was copied from the pink one i saw at malverns that keeps popping up on instagram, thye don't seem to make noise and personally i think they are a bit tacky, i'll likely remove them
