    Show us your Specialized

there was once a guy telling me to never consider a Specialized lower than a Stumpjumper. This is the perfect proof that he was so wrong. It's less the model, more what you do make out of it. Your bike combines a lot, nice old school steel frame, but nicely done with great parts and even very...

The European resistance: 1996 Genius OR + Sachs Quarz

cool story wow, the shown custom levers,- mostly from Spain, right? - are all a really nice alternative to an Avid one. BTW: I had the chance to buy once some Spanish MTB buyers guide magazines from the SoloBici magazine and was surprised about the enormous presence of local brands, not just...

    Rene HERSE Cycles tech info.

I have seen some tests and measurements also once in a bike magazine proving that wider tires doesn't have to have a higher rolling resistance than smaller ones. In this test it was even quite the opposite and for some tires, they have testes various sizes of one and the same model. There are a...

hey, I do have 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2004 catalogs. Potentially I want to sell them again, therefore I do not want to share yet complete scans, because I want to get at least some of the money I've paid for... Let me share some selected pics from 2001, but I'm also not sure exactly about your...

    Avid Brake Lever Question.

I personally find that the Speed Dial helps to adjust the levers to some extent do support both, cantilever and v-brakes. At least running "L" levers orginally for V-brakes with Canti does work for me OK. But here is a bit of history and more information on the Avid levers...

DT Swiss Onyx hubs - what year did they come out?

Nice wheels, I do like Onyx too. The first listing i've found was in a buyers guide for the season 2000. Showing the page for the Whizz-Wheels wheelsets, just because there was one page listing DT-Hügi and DT-Swiss wheels at the same page. The hubs alone had been covered in this buyers guide...
