    Catalogue 1994 Lotus Sport Catalogue

Lotus Sport Bike Range brochure 1994 incl. the iconic Carbon Monocoque models from SP System / CompositAir. Created on basis of photographs I've came across. Therefore the quality isn't great, and the Alu LX model is missing, but hopefully better than nothing.

can anyone help me identify the make of this bike.

actually the only thing I do think is cool at those Steppenwolf bikes is the name itself! It reminds me less on the rock band but rather to the nice Hermann Hesse novel.

can anyone help me identify the make of this bike.

all needed information is on your picture ... It's a Steppenwolf (like on the frame protection, just typically this should been mounted on the chain side ), a German brand. The model is Timber (the decals is still there). Like this one...

    Inappropriate brand/model names

While talking about Titan, to me it was first of all a absolute stupid idea and completely misleading or confusing to call a brand Titan, even if the bikes had been produced with steel tubing. There was a Swiss brand called Titan, selling mostly road racing bikes. Picture from...

    Inappropriate brand/model names

ha, when it comes to tires I can add also two examples. Maybe not directly inappropriate, but both at least a bit more umcommon names: Corratec Diamant Peter and Diamant Wolf had been nice semislick tires of the mid 90ties. Peter was a front tire, Wolf the proper rear one. This name was...

Any one want to do a deal with the Devil?

come on, this was one of the nice looking brake sets from Devil you should have looked at this model... I haven't altered the picture, no photoshop, no AI, pure design and apparently a skilled manufacturer.

    Hnida

Wow, what a nice bike 🤩 Please help me to sort out a few things, I was told that there was also a Czech Biker František "Franta" Mrázek, the key technical mind behind the Kangaroo suspension forks and DH bikes mid to end of the 90ties. Just the business side of the company was done by Rudolf...

    Mystery and Unidentified Parts

same thing just chrome plated, already in the 1990 brochure, that means even earlier than Hydro-stop Mountain for MTBs so this was not specific to road racing or BMX bikes but the initial focus was rather regular touring bikes. Here in black on a nice Nöll in the 1991 brochure
