    Sad looking Ti Raleigh

Tis my size! Tis St Ives down the road and not the one miles away! I have some nice Ambrosio wheels hanging about! Is it worth a squirt?! Only ever had steelies - should I look out for anything in particular re: this type of frame? Cracks anywhere I guess? Have a shed o'shoite I could...

    Dawes Edge 653 Newport

I'd read that the finishing of the brazing was a little rough - but that close-up joint's as rough as a badger's @rse! Being a tinkerer I'd watch how Brodie/ other masters finish off a braze, strip the F&F, make it secksy and re-paint in something a bit more flamboyant. And only if it were...

Chelmsford Raleigh 531 fun for £20

Sorry about that - if you saw my profile you'd see I'm not a great user of FB! The best bits I get sent are to do with the band Ride and I'm a member of the 'drawing coc&s on newspapers' group - a most childish and yet hilarious group sharing home-made images of just that. Here's the F&F

    Titanium bike - £50

And kick-stand! Who knows - perhaps those 6 tyres are NOS white Porkies?! Cool front light system, saddle bag - worth fifty squids.....no idea - good spot though! Edit, they're hanging in the background d'oh! I'd be useless in a police line-up

My first attempt at a retro MTB restoration. 😆

Did Captain Nemo own it? Looks like it was stored undersea! At least the f&f look in good nick, but as above, that drivetrain needs some attention - some cables won't be the only thing you'll be needing. Could be a cool enough ride though with some savvy purchases and tinkering. Good luck...

    1989 Orange Clockwork, yellow/white fade. *Update, 21/04/24.*

Good and honest - no schamncy parts - a survivor - I like it a LOT!:)

Epic Collection eh? I bet the weight's epic. Quite like it with the short road stem though

Excellent! Great frame, bulletproof paint and style.

    Real deal or fake?

Nice work - a perfectly useable bicycle that, I imagine, gives a nice solid smooth ride (to the pub). Not a whippet but that's not the point. Leant up (against said pub wall) it will look smart.

    Real deal or fake?

Show us the other side and pics of the components and any other smaller stickers such as frame material stickers - there'll be more of a clue what it's about. Anything's worth restoring - if it fits, does the task you want it to, want to fettle bearings, maybe fit new cables, maybe new tyres...

Help identify triple triangle lugged frame?

That fork crown reminds me of a meaty number on an early 'SBDU' (sorta) MTB I once had (broken frame) - the brown and champagne coloured thing - can't remember what model it was - but early-ish - so maybe the sort of crown that was readily available at the time?
