OK, no bike, but LOTS of bike stickers! This was my parents wheelie bin from circa 1994*... *EDIT* changed date as I think MTB PRO magazine didn't come out until 1994...

No need to apologise! Hope you can pass it on/sell it to someone who will love it and enjoy it. All the retro bikes I own is because of an emotional connection/encounter I had when I was younger. It has to feel right and if it doesn’t then move on! Look forward to seeing what you’ll build/focus...

It’s great that it lives on and gets used. Nice to see bikes with random components on because that’s what happens as components wear and become obsolete. I’d save a few eBay searches for more period/original components and keep an eye on what pops up, but in the mean time enjoy what bikes are...

Lovely work @PhillB . Looks like you’ve done another cracking paint job. Colourways look great. Look forward to seeing more pics and progress when you get time and start sourcing components. A different kind of shopping list for this one!

Good luck with the “chat” Bob! I love this bike. The distance/local pick up only plus “chat” with the wife is a stumbling block as things are pretty hectic at home. Although I do think adding a Maverick to the collection would improve the quality of my life! 🤪🤣

Sorry for later than planned reply. IGNORE what I wrote above. It's 110mm BCD like shimano esq chainrings of that era. Remember with x5 bolts you cannot just measure between the centre of the bolts as they don't cross the centre line of the chainring as you'll end up with a false measurement...

From memory middle & outer rings are on a 104mm BCD? I know they are different to Shimano’s 110mm BCD. Will get back to you later today
