    Lightest Steel Frame?

That’s an interesting bike. Do you have any pics of the drive-side? I collect Walter derailleurs but it’s very rare to see them fitted.

    Need some inspiration

These have a nice light, comfortable, slightly flexy feel. If that’s appealing you’ll likely love it - but you won’t know till you give it a try!

Wanted Simplex Juy Export 61 derailleur

Hi, thanks for the reply. The mech above is the Raid Export, a more affordable version without the riveted badge and less well finished. I have one of those and it’s still a very nice quality mech. There aren’t many Export 61’s in good condition, as you say. There’s a beauty in the U.S. but...

What is the best groupset over the past 25 years (1998-2023) in your opinion?

Campag Record Ti 9 spd for me. Beautiful, excellent function, durable, square taper BB. Very little plastic. Oh..and those C9 chains are the best I’ve used. Fine shifting and at least as long-lasting as a Rohloff.

    1992 Breezer Lightning XTR

“…at times I swore I was riding a bike with shocks. That’s how well the Breezer soaks up bumps” - Ain’t that the truth. 😎

    Shimano Deore SP mech ?

I’m sure nobody’s interested but in case someone is, this guy explains the SP designation at 7’48”. “...I had no idea what SP stood for, was it Super Pooper, was it Super Pussy, I had no idea.” Well apparently it’s specifically from/for a Schwinn Voyager SP from 1983. So now you know...

    Getting rid of a mouse

I suspect the opposite often happens and you end up drawing them in; “there’s a wicked buffet ‘round at no 10 - peanut butter, chocolate, everything! Bring all yer mates..”

    Would you ride 150mm cranks?

Not a lot of experience to have much of an opinion, but I recently fitted 175’s to a road bike and find the extra extension quite uncomfortable when on the drops. It feels noticeably more cramped especially at the top of the pedal stroke (but I’m not very flexible).

    Getting rid of a mouse

Seems strange they like fish but they seem to love it! Thinking about it, it would’ve been tinned tuna not salmon. If the sardines fail try that
