Cool bike in amazing condition. Wasn’t Hilary Stone’s personal bike one of these when he wrote for Cycling Plus? (albeit a different colour scheme/year) I’ve heard that too but have also read that it was supplied by EMI and was from Birmingham …or maybe Wales!

It does seem a hell of a lot, but it is rare so I’ve no idea. The sellers prices are very variable, some of his stuff isn’t bad at all. There’s probably a Japanese collector looking at it right now and going through some turmoil!

Wow, two great buys. The 125 looks to be in amazing condition and all original. I wish my ‘76 had lights (and speedo and indicators!). It’s a terrifying affair sticking your arm out to indicate right in the middle of a busy road with the immediate deceleration!

These are the best bars I’ve ever used - they feel kind of ‘lively’ rather than being flexible like plain-gauge Ti bars. Although the ends are paper thin, the centre section is actually thicker than standard P.G. Ti bars, which accounts for their solid but tight-springy feel. Fab bars!

If I remember correctly, Ian’s M.F. forks turned out to not be Ti despite looking very much like it. Very stylish though regardless.
