This thread made my mind up to buy a 95 Kilauea what was for sale near where i live, looking forward to seeing if it lives upto the mbuk report

Just acquired this 95 Kilauea in 95% original condition sourced locally to me. First time owning a 95 Kona and the fact it's a Kilauea is even better so i'm looking forward to throwing those gripshifts in the bin 😁 strip it down and give it a good clean then get out on it.

Seeing that splatter paint range and the green Explosif and the Joe Murray connection at Denton cycles for the first time made me fall in love with Kona bikes and all these years later i still love them. One day i'll own one of my dream Konas a 93 Hei Hei 😁

I've got cold feet though and have withdrawn it, there hard to find so i'm going to hold onto it till i find a 19 inch frame.

Sorry my feet got cold thinking of selling it going to have a think what to do,i may hold onto it until i find a 19 inch frame. Possibly going to sell the splatted 92 Lavadome instead which i was going to build.
