My RS1 have both the Rhino and lettering engraved on them... they also have more machining around the extractor thread, so I'm guessing yours may be a very early iteration.

Late to the party, but the first Gen mounts (as teh OP has) don't have the spherical mount. not a big issue in practice unless you have some fork/frame misalignment.
