they have a very similar profile to Campagnolos.

I'd also add, they are an absolute bastard to bleed, you need to bleed them every 3 weeks, and the levers need a low leverage ratio, similar to V levers. Paul Smith used Avid ulitmates for this exact reason. normal Canti levers will result in a very mushy feel.

it has a small steel spring within the linkage (and a tiny rubber top-out bumper too). The 'rod' across the linkage (front to back on the left-hand side) is a small oil damper.

It's an F2, and despite owning one, I'm not sure of teh exact year, but somewhere around 93.
