Help setting up cantilever brakes (Kinesis Crosslight 5T)

Tektro is not known for his powerfull brakes. They do good stuff, never have a problem with a tektro product but ... reliable and not powerfull, the same for disc brakes and V brakes, other brands do better, perhaps you can change the pads for some Cool Stop Dual compound ones etc I was close...

    Frame suggestions for shop bike

You can go for something exotic and cool instead a average 90s MTB and every time you take it, it will make a interesting commuting route. ;) I love this one, not easy to buy. Hand made, amazing fork and details. Al mega or cro mega are always cool bicycles. Cheap: Marin, looks cool. and...

Ever wondered about where a bike is now?

I know were my BH Top Line or Grisley Mega is. It was in good condition, decals perfect, shiny aluminium, and a near brand new XC 700 fork that works good and serviced. I sold it because the wheels were not very good and need some money to level up and was too expensive to put in similar level...

Fluorescent Yellow painters - who do we use?

Fluor paint is a pain. To keep in good shape from 1993 it was easy: No one has near used it until now that I´m finishing the assembly and the Frame is covered all the time from light. Cool but a pain. My ex Meta was fluor and didn´t fade it BUT it was Mate and very dirty paint. For me the...

    1993 GT RTS 1

Good job, looks nice. Again it is a wave of GT projects, but all retro. They were very cool, for me was one of the greatest in the 90s but i-drive kill them.

Talk to me about GRISLEY bikes

I use one of this in front forks. Buy one big, paint in black and put a screw to pull it out. With this you avoid mud inside. And that is all, nothing to worry 👍
