Claud butler with DX Alfreton, Somercotes

Lovely find. If you contact @gil_m at Retrodecals, he can run you off a full set of stickers that I drew up a few years ago. Only check the colours as I had mine made up for the black one. You can check the colours against my teal version in my bio link below (view your phone/tablet in...

What frame is this look lik a raleigh to me but dont know which model

Whatever… it’s definitely not a Claud. The only one of the mid 90’s Ali frames they sold with square tubing was the top end Antaeus ‘93-‘95 and that’s not one of them.

The classic Claud Butler that I have acquired

July ‘53 is correct. And I’m pretty sure it’s a New Allrounder. The 1953 AC didn’t have fluted tops on the seat stays (That year they were partially wrapped over the top tube) and would have had a more expensive fork crown.

Claud Butler - Carpenter - Vintage Bike - Wheel Help

Who? What? Where? How? I’ve just woken up from a deep sleep (Long covid induced) You lot are close… but no cigar. It’s a Super Vello not a coronation although tbh it’s pretty much the same beastie, apart from they made the Coronation cheaper by switching out the 531 and they also produced a...

I’ve thought about it, but finding that 2 day Scottish Summer window could be a challenge. Then again I could always pop into uncle @Jamiedyer for a coffee…

    Claud Butler 21" Speedway Frameset

Ermmm…. A clunker? I think if anyone turns a 1977 rare as rocking horse shit Claud Butler Speedway into clunker they might just deserve having their f**king neck broken when they ride that lightweight tubbing off-road. Just saying… Ps why haven’t I bought it? Price tag is too much for what...
