Finally finished it a few weeks ago. Wasn’t happy with the yellow tape so went over it with some NOS Benotto blue. The SRAM Force 1 is ok around here unless you have a big tailwind. Found the Frameset online from an Austrian bike store and had it shipped to me in Puglia. Had the paint touched up...

I have 2 brand new sets of the above forks for cross bikes. Both are new but with cantilever brake mounts. Hoping to get some photos later as they are at my parents near Lincoln. £150 each or sensible offers.

The latest discovery… don’t know if it’s on uk Amazon at the same price. You can still buy it though.

I spend many an hour when I cant sleep trawling Amazon and came across this that might interest someone. Brand new, size small.

I love the look of these, if only I knew enough about what to do with them... I have just built up a Benotto with new wheels and group so I don't know if these would accommodate the cassette and the fact I had to spread the rear to 130 mm.

I’ve as good as finished the Benotto 3000 rebuild. I’ve used Cinelli bars and quill stem, spread the rear to 130 mm and installed a Sram Force 1 groupset. The test ride was great till the last mile when the rear wheel slipped and started rubbing the stay. I’ve ch the skewers to the old type...

Bought for a vintage project but never used, only opened to check colour. £20 each shipped.

I was of the mind originally that it needed Campy but then I saw all the old vintage bike with a host of Shimano etc and thought oh. So I’m going polar opposite and sticking Force 1 on it. I’d never have EPS again after my experiences with Version 1.
