Looks like inside chainstay width is measuring out at an even 60mm... Terra Ones might be fine in dry weather (I was being overly optimistic 😅). Anyone know what the Fairweather XC CG 26" measures out to? The tire currently mounted on the rear is a 2.3" Nokian Freddie's Revenz for snow use...

Haven't ridden it yet, I think the tire that's on the rear currently is too big and I'd be worried about chewing up the chainstays. Thinking about ordering some Terra Ones for it! I'll post a report once I've taken it on one of the local trails!

Interesting craigslist find. Listed as an '88, seems about right, group is M730. As best as I can tell the builder was Scott Jett out of Chico, California. Not much online about him, looks like he built a few road and mountain frames. This is exactly as I picked it up yesterday. Need to swap...

Update is I think this frame wants a suspension fork... the problem is that none of my forks clear the dt. I'm kind of thinking about having someone machine a shim to bring my crown race seat up about 4 mil. I know that might be kind of cheesy but this frame is already toast in a couple ways so...

Ha yes it's one of the famed "dirt sharks", but I like Slawta's offbeat sense of humor when it comes to naming and labeling. One of the dt bottle bosses must have cracked and a previous owner filed it out to be a smooth round hole. Just barely visible in one of the pictures. Not the worst damage...
