Love your enthusiasm for this build, I used to regularly get overtaken on my commute to work by a yellow m900 and would really long like one. Judging by progress so far this is going to be of the highest standard :)

Thanks. It looks like a bit of a risk as the bike has certainly had a life, but try finding another! I think it has most of the original parts, but I suspect the back wheel has been replaced. Let's hope for muck rather than rust :)

Agreed, those pug stems are a bit angled, but certainly distinctive! I can imagine with a flat stem and seat up it could look quite the racer.

I recruit people at work. When I look at CV's now the date of birth is often 1995 or 1996. I think about what I was doing when they were born and feel really old!
