Went to my local tip today and they have a shop selling various discarded possessions that someone at the tip had decided are too good to throw away. I could see an old mountain bike in amongst the usual pile of Halfords rubbish, and went over to have a look. The Orange sticker and a quick lift...

I've been away from Retrobike for a while, setting up a business that has drained all of my time! I've been drawn back in to fiddling around with bikes and have ended up with a couple of projects, both have stuck seat posts so I'm going to move them on to hopefully buy something less involved...

Some serious mods going on there! Just to state the obvious, that's a small frame!

18 inch. Something of a survivor! The price reflects the condition of course, I also have an original wheelset and bars that could be thrown in for another tenner! Would you need it posting? I wasn't planning on doing this as I work 60+ hours a week so am rarely at home. If you can organise...

Re: Thanks for a great thread! I have enjoyed the way this build has evolved, and they way it is getting used. I think your final winter build up would be the one for me, a real go anywhere do anything set up.
