Evening all I've recently built up a singlespeed project and have had problems with chain slip when under load. A bit of internet research suggests that this is due to chain being too long, and the tensioner pushing down rather than up. Here's a pic: I'm confident that components are all ok...

Thanks LDP. I must admit I'm having very lustful thoughts about that particular frame (!) although I need to check the size. If it was perfect, I might try an offer and then build it as (hopefully) a lifetime keeper...

Justifiably pricey, or wildly optimistic? Subject to condition being maintained, would items like this actually appreciate in value over time?
