    Here we go again!

Been busy stripping the bike. Frame now degreased and out for its new coat. Left crank arm and front brake cable headset guide is off to be rechromed. This gives me time to get down to some serious cleaning and polishing. Anybody got any knowledge of the perfect 8.8.8 five speed freewheel...

    Here we go again!

As the Abba lyrics say. "Mama Mia.....HERE WE GO AGAIN! HOW CAN I RESIST YOU?" and after recently selling my Marin MTB and my refurbished in 2018 Peugeot Premiere my stable was now looking a little bare, so two out, now another one in, and after a pause and a few withdrawal symptoms, yet...

Jack Taylor Super Clubman Barn Find - * small update page 14

Re: Hi Jamie Love your scenic photos, you live in a really stunning area. Glad to see these old road bikes are still doing a bit of Rough Stuff. 'Wayfarer' 'Over the Tops' was my inspiration to get riding many years ago. I take it you carried the bike on those muddy tracks as it still looks...

    Aend’e Time Trial

Despite being a rival entry in the December rBoTM you'll get my vote. A nice looking frame well restored, lovely paint job, certainly not a home paint job like mine. I only wish I had the power in my legs at 70 that I had when 47, make the most of it. Well done in the TT.

    Carlton for the enthusiasts.

Definitely an easy clean frame. Personally I would have preferred the rear brake cable to be fully covered, but maybe thats saving weight with not having another couple of extra brazed on cable guides 'he says tongue in cheek!'.

An Autumn Ride to Brick Beach 28/10/19. The bricks shown were all used to form the coastal defences and are the result of the World War II bombings of Liverpool. Now historians search this beach for broken tiles pottery etc and links to our not so distant past.

Much as I now love my garage find , and yes it’s both great to look at and to ride. I really like OldTels Continental, the fork angle to the frame, the bars and brakes have a true Post Edwardian look about them. I’d like to take it for a spin, but think I might have to break my ankle ‘ouch’ to...

Re: Re: I like that a lot! Looks in great condition for its age. I like to bring my bikes back to pristine condition, but this is a case of definitely leave as it is, flaky paint, rust and all. I also like your Percy Barnard on flicker has that frame been built up now.?
