I haven't done the course myself, but I can highly recommend Ed at Great Rock. Wor lass has done a few of his courses now and it's transformed her riding. More confident, better abilities and as a result faster and happier.

I use Strava as a social thing. See when and where people have been riding. It's interesting to see how fast you are, but its not everything. If you do use it, make sure you set up your shadow(s) so it's not obvious where your bikes are kept

You can view tv catchup on an android USB tv stick. I've got one for media streaming and it can do tv over the wifi network. It's not tv quality, but only about £50.
