I've a brand new hub sitting here and the Park Tools red pin spanner is a perfect fit

You need deep pockets and one of these or just buy a pin spanner from Park Tools and use a large washer, the axle and some caution to remove the cover

I think I may have some without hoods if that is any good to you Silver with red anodised pins from memory

The diesel needs to be mixed with ATF to work best

A 50/50 mix of ATF and diesel poured in and left for a few days should loosen it off
