Trek bought GF in 1993. I am pretty sure that the tri-colour colourway was put on the Supercaliber bikes - the yellow/orange combo was used on a number of bikes that I sold BITD but the 3rd colour (black) only went on the SuperCal.

Its crazy. I bought a Trek Carbon road bike (yes I know but it's on topic) for £400 in February. Same model now (year/colour/slightly lower spec) are now up at £900+ Like others have said, even BSO's that would usually never sell are going for £100 ish, all driven by the fact that the shops sold...

Re: Nice. I had a 1989 (I think) CB Spirit. 400LX in 'Pearlescent Aquamarine'. Always coveted the Cape Wrath of the same year as it was in black and looked stealthy :-)

CAAD2 = F600, F1000 was CAAD3. Sorry, couldn't make that out on the photos.

ok - photos aren't that good then as rear mech and chainset look really cheap!
