Hi all My wife has a 2004 Marin Attack Trail (the Whyte designed one with the multi pivot swingarm). When sold this came with a lifetime warranty on the bearings. The bearings in my wife's bike have all failed. I emailed Marin UK and the response I got back was this: Thank you for reaching...

I had a 1990 'Spirit' in 'Pearlescent Aqua Marine' - it was a full 400LX Gruppo with an 'upgrade' of a Flexstem. Was a lovely ride if a little heavy until some tealeaf nicked it at Uni. Always hankered after a Cape Wrath of the same year - always had a thing about black bikes!

Any ideas what they are worth (looking to but not sell). Seen one on a local group, in good condition. Mid+ range gear (XT mostly). What do these go for? So few around it's difficult to get any idea at all! Cheers Ade

You were certainly 'on it' once you came out of Red 10 - I know you had the advantage of rigid (look for the excuses now!) but you dropped me like a bad smell. You local to Crowthorne??

Black,carboney finish. Fully rigid with modern Eagle drivetrain. Moving at some speed! Anyone on here?

Re: One of the rules on this site is to not offer an opinion as to how much something is listed for, so all I will say is that the other day I bought a 2007 Marin Attack Trail, full XT drivetrain, Hope/Mavic 717 wheeleset, SLX disc brakes, Fox Talas RLC forks and propedal shock for £250.

still got my original pair of 1995 Nike Super Pooh-bahs (brown suede ankle boot) - the only pair of MTB footwear I have ever owned!

Speak to Wadsy if you want a replacement set of Mag21's for the front of that. Some really nice parts on it - was it owned by an older gentleman perchance?

That's a Delta V - Killer V were rigid.

Don't think DB ever did a chrome model, and certainly not one with dropouts that thin. Agree with the first response that it is probably a cheap-o frame with DB stickers.

read that several times and think I got it - also there is a pic on there that I missed which shows someones bike set up at 6" and shock is set to the bottom of the slot so I guess we have a winner! Thanks
