    Offroad 752 and Master

Ok, so I'm not good at the photography thing. But today the Mavic Sunsets arrived... The courier driver has been driving around with them in her car for days because she couldn't find our address! So anyway, I wasn't really looking for these and I had considered the 752 complete. After some...

    REMOVED

Re: Mountain Mayhem Race Jersey thread Last week I was on a work outing to Bikepark Wales. There where lots of 'rad' people there, and it seems the dress code is Fox. Every one looked like they where sponsored by Fox. My friend and I where the only two riders in lycra. Discussions at work...

Mountain Mayhem Returns 2019 let the planning and BS begin

Yeah I'm not good at this photography thing. I didn't realise this currency existed, at least in the retro bike world. makes me wonder how some of these big resto's are paid for - and people blame bad knees on Biopace!

    BotM December 2018 - Flagship gruppos.....no thankyou!

James1985's Dawes Wildcat. Thread is here... viewtopic.php?f=6&p=2902020#p2902020 It has an Exage trail gruppo with Biopace rings, black LX cantis, Suntour shifters and Dia Compe levers. I have made a few changes to suit what I wanted. It is one of those bikes that rides far better than it...

    Dawes Wildcat

Some updates for this one. I did like the invincible feeling of the wheels, however in the interests of lightweight, quick release, cassette and tubeless-ness I changed to some Bontrager Racelights. They are rather conveniently the perfect red and yellow colour match. I think I much prefer the...

    Canyon Team Titanium (Build completed)

Re: Re: I will be using it for club xc racing, plus a bit of Mayhem! I have rebuilt the forks and they are not standard, but I have a lot of shocktech forks I have been experimenting with so I can chop and change setups depending on what I want at the time. The brakes, like the suspension...

    Canyon Team Titanium (Build completed)

Re: Re: Yeah, I have some silver ones but don't think they would quite do it, as in not worth the work of changing them over. If at some point I find some red ones for a reasonable price I will be doing that as I think it would look awesome.

    Canyon Team Titanium (Build completed)

    Canyon Team Titanium (Build completed)

Ok so I am still waiting on a few bits. Seat binder bolt. Ti bolts for the stem. Matching set of Ti bolts for the bottle bosses. Red Garmin out front mount. If I can prise myself away from Time Atac pedals it will also get a set of XTR pedals.

    Canyon Team Titanium (Build completed)

Re: Canyon Team Titanium Had a chance to get some more bits and bobs done... I love the red valves... As a nos Hope stem was still in a cabinet at work, it would have been rude not to match up with the seat post...

    Canyon Team Titanium (Build completed)

Re: Canyon Team Titanium 7 days since the last update. So I have rebuilt the front wheel with new DT Competition spokes and red nipples.... I am waiting on a rear rim as I'm trying to buy some others and then will be having a bit of a change around. Not that this matters, as these wheels...

    1991 Offroad Proflex 750 - Gravel Retro-mod!!

Re: Offroad Proflex 750. 1990/91? Very nice. Never really looked at one of these before, but I can now see quite a few differences from my 752, I always just thought they where pretty similar. Will be nice to see it built and used.

    Schwinn

Most likely it will be a frame that covers multiple models, so the lower ones have a basic non taper fork but at least its something upgradable with some decent forks. Although unfortunately, Shwinn are probably not making 'that' sort of bike any more.
