    Brake cables ..... left or right ?

    Most European riders use: front left, rear right. It happens to have a more clear cable routing. Even though many Italian riders does appear to have it the other way around. And even when Campagnolo is Italian from origine. Strange not?

    I use(d) tubulars as long as I ride on a racebike. All brands has been on the rims. In earlier days Hutchinsons, later on Wolber and Vittoria. And nowadays I do have a set of Continental Giro's. Cheap and really comfort as well as less punctures. But you buy them as store them for at least half...

    Nice solution you did on teh front derailleur. But there are still some older Campagnolo types with a stop on it. Nice job done bytheway. I like the Flandria's.

    Look what I bought today. From Lidl, a nice set of cycle tools. Ofcourse some of them I already had. But nevertheless there were some others which I wanted anyway. Nice for all repairs on a retro bike. Some very old tools still required, for example suntour freewheel remobers etc. For only € 35,--

    I think you could be right John. I will certainly consider to leave the old paint as it is. Unfortunatly however it is a little bit fozzy, because some has been spraying something else in the neighbourhood of the bike in the past. It is covered with a slight little bit of grey underlayment...

    Benotto bar tape was on the market from 1980. I enjoyed it very much then. And was able to swap a retro trainings yersey and winter cap for some sets look-a-likes a short time ago. Marvelous. :D Although I did provide my bike with cloth Tressostar.
