Thanks! :) I was undecided about the groupset and whether to go with an earlier set up, but stuck with the original choice of modern sram mainly so that she has no worries with it. Would have liked something more in keeping though.. The Kona does look amazing similar at first glance. Will be...

Finished it today :) ...well apart from one zip tie for the rear brake line near the tyre, and changing the front brake hose at some point to decent hope stuff.. It will get fresh decals too once i've rendered them. Had some fun setting up the rear derailleur with it being the first time...

    So, that Fat Chancer Frame??

Build it and ride it! You'll have yourself a unique bike no matter what it's trying to resemble, and no doubt a good frame too. I wouldn't mind it... and not just for the controversy. You could certainly have some fun and come up with an interesting useable build! :) Would sooner not see...

Any Photoshop experts? Decal help needed...

You can use the magic wand to select the white but i find it hit and miss sometimes, plus don't like relying on tools too much... so best to use the polygonal lasso tool to cut it away and delete it for good. Just take your time with it, zoom right in and cut away what you don't need. make...

Any Photoshop experts? Decal help needed...

i just used the polygonal lasso tool to remove the background and cut away whatever wasnt needed to leaving it transparent, then layer the white underneath. Ideally it'd need to be redrawn in illustrator for best results and a cleaner black outline as it's quite bity. getting the fade to look...

    Aeronaut's DMR Trailstar

You're right, it was pointless to an extent but i just liked it tbh... plus only cost me 99p with the tensioner  It has now been removed anyway and much prefer it. Also removed the front brake; rear caliper will be reduced in size at some point too. Just want to simplify it...

I'd just like to say a big thank you to everyone that has commented thus far and to those i may not have replied to personally. You've all made it so worthwhile knowing the time, effort and love put into creating this little bike, even though it is just a humble DMR. Really do appreciate it...
