Any suggestions as to a place to stay on 11th, somewhere near Gatwick? I had planned to go to Brighton that evening, but that gig fell through, so now I would like to stay nearer London, but not IN London.

I just finished a Skype conference with my friend in Lancashire. My visit will start on 11 July, leaving around two weeks later depending on what we can schedule. Trying to get to a lot of places, I have interest in Scotland, Wales and Isle of Man as well as in the South.

I spent a couple of days at the Sea Otter Classic, mostly hanging out in the Breezer booth, since Joe spotted me the exhibitor pass. Saw a couple of bikes that would be of interest here. No explanation necessary A bit of a Frankenbike, AlpineStars ti E-stay, with every expensive aftermarket...

Bumping this because we may be able to pull it off this year. Joe has to be in Germany from 5-10 July. I am planning a trip to the UK between 11 and 26 July, with the idea that Joe will join me there. I have a date in Lancashire on 23rd July for a talk, but nothing scheduled before then...

If I could make the screening, I would set up a book signing in the lobby. Unfortunately, I have to wash my hair that evening.
