I've always wanted one of these since they had a cool race pedigree from the early 90's. Unfortunately it's too smal for me- 16" frame. They were so unique back in the day and I remember seeing a few around, this despite the fact that the A-Frame was essentially a solution to a non-problem...

I'm always drawn back to this bike. Something about it...the angles are just perfection. 0 degree stem, extended seatpost, sloping downtube. Yup, just bloody cool.

Definitely one of my top 5 bikes of all time.

Thanks for the input. Maybe I could fit them to a future ultralight racer. I figure the bike would have to be a featherweight if I've got no granny gear! cheers

Found these at my LBS. While I have no use for them, (either the part or the purple), I figured I couldn't let these retro babies languish away for another 10+ years. They're going to languish away in my parts room instead. So, who's retro enough to remember what these were for? :wink...

It's a little small for me, but makes a wicked fast pavement ripper. The great thing is, I picked it up because aside from the brake arch (since removed), saddle, bar and bar ends (which I added to stretch the cockpit out a bit). It's pretty much original.

I'm pretty new here as well but have been a mtb enthusiast since 1988 (pretty much since the beginning of really decent commercialized mountain bikes I suppose). If I was to hazard a guess to your question, I'd say 12 years seems to be a magic number at this point. Anything older than 1995...
