    Rock Shox Sid 1998 service

Is it still possible to service a Sid 1998? Last weekend I wrecked mine, it didn't like the muddy conditions in the Ardennes. After 30 km's it was in a lockout state. I have asked in my LBS if they can service it. They say they need to call with the dutch distributor and ask them, they don't...

    My Specialized Family (update)

Re: ahh I can tell the Fox is great, very stiff indeed, and reliable. I made my first ride today with te Sid. It was the first ride with a Sid ever, and I thought it was great. Very pluche, but not to jumpy. I think it is a keeper. If it ever breaks, I'll buy a new one. That brings me...

    My Specialized Family (update)

Thnx! The M5 is a very sweet ride, stiff, not to flexy, corners really good, good weight balance during the climbs and downhills. I can drive for hours, although it is an energy consuming bike. But is that not the thing with all the american transportation  grtz Gène

    My Specialized Family (update)

In de buurt vaan Mestreech  If you pay the transportation costs, you will recieve a nice box with al the bits and pieces. It was indeed a minor setback, but I really hope I can buy a custom frame set that will just look like the original (only one size bigger  ) Thanks! It is...

    My Specialized Family (update)

My Specialized family, I don't what is is that makes a Specialized a Specialized, but I like it. Specialized Steel (1994) Unfortunately not useable, it is rotten at the chainstay near the bottom bracket. In the future I would like to copy the geometry and use this frame as an example for a...

    My Specialised S works M2 1997

No this is an 1997 model. According to bikepedia there was no mango colored S-works M2 in 1998. Nice, I really love those S-works from that period. grtz Gène
