1994 Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium

Re: 199? Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium Thanks. Yes I think it probably is almost the same spec as a Ti 2000, certainly similar going by the 95 catalogue on here anyway.

80ies Raleigh MTB question - who knows something?

Amazon Burner, Your '96 Amazon would have had '4130' Cromoly tubing, its the same frame as my '96 Equator, still have the sticker on mine. Had the bike from new, its was lower spec in the components than the amazon, but other than that & obviously the colour/name they were the same 'chassis'

    Raleigh Lizard

This brings back memories, a Lizard was my first mountain bike. Bought it off a mate at school in about 1994 I think for £40. It weighed a ton! I ditched the steel wheels and fitted some ali weinman rims I think. Had a few years of fun on it, when it started to get a bit tatty I re-sprayed it...

1994 Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium

Re: 199? Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium Cool Thanks, I was beginning to think it was a 1994 one. Anyone remember how much these sold for roughly, back in 94? It needs a lot more than just the chain oiling!!

1994 Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium

Re: 199? Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium Thanks Ovlov440, I saw the Team edition in the 1995 catalogue, although that one has the alivio groupset, where mine is STX & the paintjob is slightly different, which leads me to think its either earlier or later 1994 or 96 ? although mine does say...

1994 Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium

Re: 199? Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium I have had a good search on here to try and date the team titanium, but still can't find any reference to its year. Anyone know if it can be dated by its frame number? Cheers, Roy

1994 Raleigh M Trax Team Titanium

Hi All Just picked up this M-Trax 'limited edition' Team Titanium today, which has been unloved for a while. Just given it a wash to get all the C**p off! Anyone know the year of it please? I have downloaded the 1995 catalogue from the archive & the spec seems identical to the Ti2000, Ie full...

    Carbon Fibre/Aluminium frame bonding

Ok not exactly retro but I am thinking about building my own frame (retro style) from carbon fibre tubing and machined aluminium lugs. Does anyone have any experiance or knowledge of the glue favoured for bonding the tubes into the lugs? I have so far located Permabond ET515 which seems...

    Rudge Biframe

After yesterdays test ride, further rear mech adjustment was required. As I said in my first post I've just built this up from what bits & pieces I had lying about. Well the rear mech was one I had played around with in my teenage days & the mounting pivot was like well..... a prick in a...

    Rudge Biframe

Few more pix guys, one of it folded. Not the smallest package, but fits in the boot of the car OK & its a full size bike at the end of the day!! Some views of the foldy bits & the unusual BB position. It was fun trying to fit the shimano cartridge BB assy, as the seat tube intersects through...

    Rudge Biframe

Thanks, Yeah its a bit of an oddball. Its because it hinges in the middle. The BB is offset from the tube so the hole thing can swivel. I was suprised how well it rides & it weighs in at just under 15KG its no lightweight but I didn't think it was bad considering the extra bits for the foldy...

    Rudge Biframe

Hi All, I am a newbie on here, but have just built up a Rudge (Montague) Biframe from a frame bought on ebay a while back. The components are nothing spectacular as I just built it up with what I had lieing about. Will upgrade as I pick up bits & pieces I think. Other than cleaning the frame...
