I am having a pair of wheels built with Hope Pro 3 Hubs laced to Mavic X517 Ceramic Rims. I have cantilever brakes, what brake blocks should I be using? I currently have Koolstop Salmon pads, but these will probably not last 30 seconds on the new rims! Any advice please? Cheers, Roger

Thanks a lot for your replies and advice. Looks like my Saturday morning is now taken up! If I chose just to regrease my hubs, I can see that there is a cover on them which can slide anti-clockwise and LGF says that there is a grease port underneath, what would I use to insert the grease...

If you have another pc also connected by Ethernet then you could simply compare the settings, it might be worth opening up a command prompt and typing IPCONFIG /ALL on the machine that works properly and ensure that you have DHCP configured and all that sort of stuff! Cheers, Roger
