    Ergonomic bars?

I have had both ergonomic bars and traditional shallow drop bars. I found that I cannot use traditional shallow drop bars as my hands are too big for the bends! I have now got a set of shallow drop bars that need to find a new home! Horses for courses I guess. Roger

    Brake Pads - Recommendations please

I have koolstop black on my Roadbike, which has aluminium rims and seem to stop very well. I have koolstop salmon on my Clockwork which currently has aluminium rims and stop very well in all conditions, but wear down quite quickly. I will be upgrading to ceramic rims and following the advice...

Advice Please! Ceramic Rims and Canti Brake Blocks

I am having a pair of wheels built with Hope Pro 3 Hubs laced to Mavic X517 Ceramic Rims. I have cantilever brakes, what brake blocks should I be using? I currently have Koolstop Salmon pads, but these will probably not last 30 seconds on the new rims! Any advice please? Cheers, Roger

EX- CYCLE WORKERS, redundancies and shop closures

Hope this does not digress from the topic too much, but I attempted to buy a set of Hope Pro 3 hubs to have built into a set of wheels. I rang a famous shop in Headingley to enquire about the cost of these hubs (I had already looked at their website and knew that they sold them) and the crux of...

    What MTB overshoes?

I agree with the other two, save your money! I have overshoes and use them daily on my commute and have so far purchased Altura (poor fitting and with velcro all over the place), replaced them with Endura (heavy duty neoprene, but with velcro bits that came off, and a rim that did not hold onto...

    www.sbrsports.com, is this shop reliable?

They are a bit chaotic - I would try and keep a sense of humour with dealing with them, the prices are good, and the website and marketing mails they send you are very professional. Alas Wiggle or CRC they are not! Roger

How do I Service XT PD M730 and M732 Hubs???

Thanks a lot for your replies and advice. Looks like my Saturday morning is now taken up! If I chose just to regrease my hubs, I can see that there is a cover on them which can slide anti-clockwise and LGF says that there is a grease port underneath, what would I use to insert the grease...

    elite504's feedback

Bought a pair of Mavic rims from Elite. Items were, in my opinion, better than described, very fast delivery and very good communications. A simple and pleasant transaction. Thanks.

    Dull PC help

If you have another pc also connected by Ethernet then you could simply compare the settings, it might be worth opening up a command prompt and typing IPCONFIG /ALL on the machine that works properly and ensure that you have DHCP configured and all that sort of stuff! Cheers, Roger
