on the verniers fully clamped closed its 27mm. Its doesn't have the band clamp size stamped but presume with that measurement its a 28.6mm

The first Deore XT thumb shifters i believe ? 3 x 7 speed Right is working fine but left is only shifting up to second position but is returning. Shifters are better condition than the brake levers but might help someone finish a build. Included are the lever hoods and cantilever brake bridges...
