Who would you recommend and what would be the going rate for a frame & forks? I was thinking of getting a frame & forks done for my wife, so ideally a solid block girly colour would be the order of the day. Would I need to do any prepping or should I expect the coaters to strip and prepare...

Any special requirements for Aheadset-type headset? I need to fit one but I've never bought one on its own before, is there anything to look out for? It will be a standard 26" wheel frameset, non-integrated and not suspension corrected (if that matters) Thanks!

Hi, where is the best source of gear and brake cables, preferably with the outers on a roll rather than in measured lengths? I'd like decent quality but not too fancy. I always seem to have run out when I come to messing with gears & brakes, and eBay has so much choice as to be confusing. Thanks.

Quite. I guess I guess if the money spent on bikes could buy riding time that would be more useful, rather than buying yet another bike and sit dreaming about riding it whilst trapped in an office.
