As long as you have the correct equipment (vice, hacksaw, file) and correct measurements there's no reason to take it to your LBS. You're more likely to ensure the forks don't get scratched than they are! How does the Clockwork look? I bet it's niiiiiice!

They'll be DH3s (3 inches of travel). Nice action - quality forks. I'd be tempted to buy 'em if I had a suitable frame to stick 'em on.

Hello all. I was looking through some old photos at the weekend and thought i'd be nice to have a thread where we can post up pictures of us with our bikes back-in-the-day. I was in a bit of a rush at the time and only managed to find one pic, which isn't the best but hey - it's a start...

The colour of the post suggests to me that it's titanium, if that's any help.

I had my MG Midget respayed Rover Tahiti Blue - looks great when it's clean! Good luck getting the price you're after, i'm sure you won't need it!
