Well, Spent a while this evening installing a wider bar. The standard bar was too narrow for me. Also got rid of the green tape in favour of white. Definitely have to get some decals sorted. Still a work in progress.

Hi Pigman and Ridim-track, Thanks for the comments. I mistyped the above - the hub is 130 road, and the axle is 135 tip to tip. Yes, I had to spread the drops for it to fit - but I have now machined down a large spacer on the hub NDS and also machined the axle so that the wheel slots nicely...

Yea you're right! Ehhh, I'd say I probably threw at least another £26 quid at it :D Around £150 total I think which still isn't bad. I love the bike (that's why I made it the main steed - and this was supposed to just be a winter hack!). N

Hi, I recently restored an early 90's DynaTech (see Project DynaTech Build Thread) and very recently decided to use this bike as my main steed - retiring my modern alloy frame to the shed. I fitted my carbon hoops to the bike - the rear of which has a 135mm hub width. I was out for a cycle...

Just a little update. Bike is going really well and at the minute is my main steed. My alloy frame is out of action. Put my carbon hoops on it, which to some will no doubt look vulgar but combined with the steel frame the bike rides really well indeed. Not bad for a £26 eBay bike. N
