It is all personal preferance though,Si loves his which is fair enough,I just wasn't feeling it with mine,prefered my Klein Attitude and Yeti ARC and as you can see plenty of people don't like either of those!

I have a very nice early 90's Paul Donahoe 853 road frame,built in the UK and I think he also built frames under the name Cougar.

Nope,still don't get it,guess its cos I've gone all period correct on my latest build and it just seems right,new parts especially sus forks,just seem wrong. Its all personal preference of course but some builds are just plain ugly with a nice frame hidden underneath it all :wink:

But the lack of a chainstay meant it didn't all jam up,something which cost me a few times in muddy races :cry:

Chainsuck still happens with modern stuff,the only bike I never get it with is the SS,9spd is deffinatley less suseptable to it than 7/8spd though.

I really hate e-stay bikes but the Yeti Ultimate I just built up is really nice(the heaviest bike I own though :oops: ) so I'm voting cool just for that one bike!
